Menthol 0.10% w/w..................................... Oral pain reliever
Zinc chloride 0.15% w/w.....................................Oral astringent
Use
For the temporary relief of pain associated with
- canker sores
- cold sores
- fever blisters
- minor irritation or injury of the mouth and gums.
Warnings
Allergy alert: do not use this product if you have a history of allergic reaction to benzocaine, or any ingredient in the product. Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur. In such case, discontinue use.
- Do not exceed recommended dosage
- Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by healthcare provider
Stop use and ask a health care provider if
- swelling, rash or fever develops
- irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens
- symptoms do not improve in 7 days
- following symptoms appear:
- weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and/or blue coloured lips or nail beds as these may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use
Do not use if tamper-evident tab is open before first-use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
In case of overdose or allergic reaction, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away.
